DIRECTIONS

Get your kicks on Route 66. Exit Arizona I40 at Kingman exit 53, then east on Andy Devine Blvd (Rt 66) for about 28 miles. At about 20 miles out, you'll round Antares Point and into Truxton Wash and the mouth of Crozier Canyon. Access to the tracks here is on foot, walking up from the road crossing.
COMMENTS

Be sure to fuel up at Kingman. Get groceries or other supplies there because once you're up here you won't be finding a store on every corner. Cell phones do work here, but only analog service.

Valentine isn't much to write home about, but there's good railroad shots to be had here with the canyon walls surrounding. Crozier Canyon has been the background for many famous photographs of the railroad.
